This is the kind of Halloween kids in Bay and surrounding counties are having - true horror all around them.
Do not think we have “recovered”. Do not forget about the Forgotten Coast. The rubble and fallen trees are everywhere. Here is a video from driving around town today. More tarp roofs than shingled still yet. People still requesting trees removed from homes. The housing crunch is serious and real. DO NOT FORGET ABOUT US IN PANAMA CITY.

Bay County Schools in Florida are to return on 11/12/18. Most of these kids will still be homeless as their homes were destroyed during Hurricane Michael.
If you want to donate to help out Bay County children with school supplies this is a great way to help directly. About 60% of Bay County students are on reduced/free lunches, so this hurricane has hit an area that was already suffering with poverty.

Since all of our places of employment is destroyed and our supervisors scattered to the wind we have no idea when we will get paid next, if ever. We are using the limited financial rescourses we have to get supplies but we are tight on funds.
If you can, please help us help those who cannot reach the food/water distribution points and to gather other resources like Fix-a-Flat, fuel, OTC meds, pet food and more resources that are not being distributed by charities

Found out later the person who came in first place for the tattoo costume contest was having a $100 raffle for anyone who voted for him. Some people just can’t play fairly. But thanks to everyone who helped me I got over 300 HONEST NO BRIBING VOTES. Yeay!

I have been replying to personal messages from this blog asking for help though, so I haven’t totally been dead. If I win this contest I’ll post a huge life update post!)
I am in second place for a Halloween costume contest with a local tattoo shop. If my photo gets the most likes on Facebook then I can win a free $300 tattoo from the best shop in town! Score!
